This tall and handsome wine is distinguished by its deep purple color, dark brooding fruit, and weighty and substantial mouthfeel. Notes of black cherry, plum, blackberry, violet, vanilla, black licorice and blueberry. Additionally, a distinct spiciness of cinnamon, anise, and black pepper complements the bold fruitiness. An elevated, but gentle tannin content makes this wine highly age worthy. A great match for summer barbecue, or that chocolate dessert you've been craving.
