Clone 2 Tempranillo grows well in our topography which resembles its homeland in northern Spain. Fruit sourced from this vineyard block by associate wineries has won gold medals in the San Francisco Chronicle (2006), the LA County Fair (2006), and Best of State at the California State Fair (2008).

2004 Lewis Grace Tempranillo
Sourced from Duarte Vineyard in El Dorado County. The powerful jam flavors are perfectly balanced by nice chewy fruit tannins.  It finishes long with a hint of chocolate mixed with all the big berries.

2005 Lewis Grace Tempranillo
First vintage from our estate block. Beautiful, intense red with a full body brimming with ripe berry fruit. Blended with small portions of Graciano and Cabernet.

2006 Lewis Grace Tempranillo
Bing cherry, red current, raspberry, mocha. Overtones of smoke, toasted oak and leather. Big tannins.
